Rami Kleinshtein- His lyrics are true artistry, he captivates me all over again every time I hear him.

International artist that impacted your work?
Kanye West- As a rapper he has something different and singular to offer, above everything else that’s available nowadays.

What is Israeli about your art?
My family has always had a longing for Israel (artist is originally from Ethiopia). My father was involved in movements that worked to bring Jewish people from around the world to Israel. Israel is my country, I have no other place. White and blue is a “uniform” to me.

Have you performed internationally?
Yes. In Cincinnati, Columbus, Ohio, and Philadelphia.

Difference between Israeli audience and international audience?
Audiences outside of Israel give lots of love and willingness to listen. It’s easier for them to be free and open for receiving something new, they are very appreciative.
